A coworker told me about this place a while back , and I wish I would have came sooner. The gyro was on point - packed with meat, and absolutely delicious. Greek fries were the perfect side. I will definitely be back .
I’ve been coming to Gyros Place since I was in junior high, and it’s still just as amazing as ever. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and hands down some of the best gyros you’ll find. What really sets this place apart is the people. When you walk in, they know your name and make you feel like family. That kind of personal touch and genuine vibe is hard to come by. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. Absolute gem.
Fresh and delicious, I’d definitely recommend! Was a great lunch. kind staff too. Loved all the Chicago decorations/photos as well
Holy moly I couldn’t pick which meat was more tender or juicy! It’s all so yummy! First time here and I got a combo plate and was not disappointed!!
Instantly greeted with a smile and very welcoming hello. The portions were huge. My husband and I could have easily split a gyro plate. The food was quickly served up with very little wait and tasted fresh.
My wife and I recently visited Gyros Place and had a fantastic experience. She ordered the Gyro Salad, and I had the Gyros Sandwich—both were absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The family-owned atmosphere added a warm, welcoming touch, though seating is limited due to the small number of tables. Highly recommend for a tasty, casual meal!
I'm so glad we stopped in there today. As my family member said, "This is my new favorite Greek food place. It's the best Greek food I've ever had." And I couldn't say it better than that. It's a nice little place that's in such a convenient place that we usually just go past it on our way places. I'm so glad we stopped in there today. We will definitely be back, a lot! We will definitely be supporting this amazing small business. Unfortunately we couldn't find them on the food delivery services and it doesn't look like they have the ability to order on their website. But the website provides the menu and a phone number if you want to call in the order to pickup.
Stopped in here thinking Greek sounded good. Best decision I've made in a long time. it's really a mom and pop shop with two people working, one on the register one in the kitchen. It has a small seating area with no bells and whistles. Lots of folks simply ordered to go but we dined in. We ordered a gyro plate, chicken kabob plate, dolmas, and baklava. The food was incredible, though I'm no Greek connoisseur, this was the best I've had in a long time. 10/10 will be back
